After recieving a nice pass, Piedras FC's Jago Ondategui tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Belen's Matei Carabia got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Piedras FC's Roegelio Remirez got a free kick in the 31st minute. Xano Justo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garoa Copeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xano Justo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Carabia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Garoa Copeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garoa Copeiro made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Matei Carabia sent off a good shot on target. Angelino Carriedo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Piedras FC's Jago Ondategui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birjaio Mirueña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piedras FC reached it. Birjaio Mirueña didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Piedras FC's Diego Palacios shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute.

The supporters of Belen booed when Piedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zayvion Uribe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes, Iratxo Mendecute mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belen and the Piedras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88thth minute of the game Xano Justo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piedras FC's Garoa Copeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Piedras FC defense, Matei Carabia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garoa Copeiro. The Piedras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garoa Copeiro should have stopped the shot. Xano Justo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garoa Copeiro having to interfere.
