Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5559, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Gillermo Corisco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mazuste Tezanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillermo Corisco in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillermo Corisco in the 6th minute of play forced Sosa FC's goalkeeper Mazuste Tezanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fagildo Romuroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazuste Tezanos having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Angelo Falco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sosa FC and the Joga Bonito players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Fagildo Romuroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mazuste Tezanos. Sosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fagildo Romuroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fagildo Romuroso took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazuste Tezanos. Mazuste Tezanos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Peter Morodo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Noguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Romano Urizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazuste Tezanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gillermo Corisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 35 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Fagildo Romuroso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mazuste Tezanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Fagildo Romuroso got free with Mazuste Tezanos in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosa FC's goalkeeper Mazuste Tezanos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gil Noguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Sosa FC's Mazuste Tezanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagildo Romuroso in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Fagildo Romuroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joga Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagildo Romuroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gillermo Corisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gil Noguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Peter Morodo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romano Urizar came out of the goal and Peter Morodo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Han Solo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Han Solo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazuste Tezanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes of play Sosa FC's Angelo Falco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute Gillermo Corisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazuste Tezanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Gillermo Corisco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sosa FC's Mazuste Tezanos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gillermo Corisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Ovando Diguja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sosa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joga Bonito the free kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sosa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Joga Bonito.
