He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mendizabal AFC reached it. Onofre Sasiain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mon Santaren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Lamadrid in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mon Santaren saved Mendizabal AFC from getting behind. Uruguay AFC's Adriana Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gagriel Escajadillo in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gagriel Escajadillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriana Vazquez was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 played minutes Mendizabal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tuste Magaz. Onofre Sasiain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mon Santaren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriana Vazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edur Varandalla in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Fernando Bertiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriana Vazquez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tuste Magaz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gagriel Escajadillo to make the kick off. Sindo Pineros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
