The referee ignored Dayman's protests and gave Feliz Lopidana a yellow card for diving instead. Ermegildo Aranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Villalaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Dayman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Sanjurjo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cerro A.C's Gaxan Vozmediana tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Canonega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Aranda having to interfere. Etxekopar Palafox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Aranda having to interfere. Ermegildo Aranda stood somewhat misplaced when Conrado Villalaud came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. The Dayman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Aranda should have stopped the shot. Etxekopar Palafox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ermegildo Aranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Aranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etxekopar Palafox, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Cerro A.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baltasar Sariego fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Conrado Villalaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Aranda having to interfere. Baltasar Sariego's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Magdaleno Elguero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro A.C's zone, Baltasar Sariego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magdaleno Elguero came out of the goal and Baltasar Sariego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Feliz Lopidana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cerro A.C booed when Dayman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliz Lopidana didn't get a good kick on the ball.
