The referee ignored Mendizabal AFC's protests and gave Edur Varandalla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mendizabal AFC's Edur Varandalla got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to Mendizabal AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Edur Varandalla hit a great ball. Mendizabal AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Bruno Navia scored to the left of an out of position Mon Santaren, making the score, 1-0. Baltasar Sariego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mon Santaren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Dayman got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Navia. 30 minutes into the match, Dayman's goal looked a bit too open when Gagriel Escajadillo came free, but Ermegildo Aranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gagriel Escajadillo in the 36th minute of play forced Dayman's goalkeeper Ermegildo Aranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Sariego struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mon Santaren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dayman. Ermegildo Aranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gagriel Escajadillo in the 44th minute of play. During the 47th minute of the match Edur Varandalla completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edur Varandalla a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 58 minutes, Sindo Pineros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendizabal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sindo Pineros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mendizabal AFC's Mon Santaren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Sariego in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Mendizabal AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Martxel Servin hit a great ball. Mon Santaren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Sariego in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mendizabal AFC's zone, Bruno Navia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mon Santaren came out of the goal and Bruno Navia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, Mendizabal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipillo Banzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mendizabal AFC's goalkeeper Mon Santaren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Bruno Navia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mon Santaren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Baltasar Sariego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendizabal AFC's Mon Santaren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Perucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Navia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mon Santaren having to interfere. Sindo Pineros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Baltasar Sariego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mon Santaren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
