Adriana Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Rois in the 30th minute of the match. When Maronas's Madaleno Escalona in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Hipolito Rois kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Justin Valluerca hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Madaleno Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onofre Sasiain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Onofre Sasiain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Confesor Rello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madaleno Escalona did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Adriana Vazquez 54 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Carne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriana Vazquez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay AFC's zone, Madaleno Escalona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriana Vazquez came out of the goal and Madaleno Escalona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Bikendi Samano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maronas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bikendi Samano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Uruguay AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Valluerca to maneuver through the defense. When Maronas's Madaleno Escalona in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Uruguay AFC's Adriana Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madaleno Escalona in the 75th minute of play. The Maronas fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Maronas's Bikendi Samano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Madaleno Escalona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adriana Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bonifacio Carne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Madaleno Escalona took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Adriana Vazquez to make any attempt to save it. After 93 minutes of play, Uruguay AFC's Rodrigo Lamadrid made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Confesor Rello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maronas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
