CF Parque Batlle's Armando Pachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Caride in the 7th minute of play. Jesus Velon's late challenge caught a Joanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Velon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CF Parque Batlle's Jesus Velon got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Alberino Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Lisandro Caride ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Pachon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lisandro Caride fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Pachon having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, CF Parque Batlle's goal looked a bit too open when Alberino Gandia came free, but Armando Pachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Caride's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Pachon was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Lisandro Caride sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gil Cothal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the CF Parque Batlle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Cothal couldn't finish the play. During the 86th minute of the match Edgardo Maquilanda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgardo Maquilanda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th minute, Edgardo Maquilanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Elia Vellana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joanico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Parque Batlle the free kick. CF Parque Batlle's Armando Pachon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save CF Parque Batlle from getting a goal against them. After having played for 96 minutes, Deunoro Simancas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joanico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deunoro Simancas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
