Lastur Aramoyana scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Amandi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Lastur Aramoyana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Amandi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of matecha booed when Carmelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresitobalo Moyano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Yaniusky Bricianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. matecha's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaniusky Bricianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Amandi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, matecha's goalkeeper Gustau Urbino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Ureta. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Giro Bolinaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmelo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giro Bolinaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustau Urbino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmelo AFC's Giro Bolinaga got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Venceslao Pardeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. matecha's supporters rose to their feet, but Venceslao Pardeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Amandi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Venceslao Pardeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giro Bolinaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustau Urbino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Venceslao Pardeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. matecha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmelo AFC the free kick. In the 45th minute, Venceslao Pardeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giro Bolinaga to make the kick off. Edgardo Ureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustau Urbino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo AFC's Flavio Amandi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lastur Aramoyana in the 87th minute of play. Gustau Urbino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giro Bolinaga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Gustau Urbino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ureta in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes matecha got a freekick which was hit by Obano Izcaray. The Carmelo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching matecha's performance. The match ended with a win for matecha.
