Carmen's Hermengildo Lucio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Carmen from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the game, Victor Wooten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Acosta's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, Acosta's Lu Wagner got a free kick in the 19th minute. Camerino Farell, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Victor Wooten scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Lucio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damaso Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Salto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A hard shot by Buddy Rich from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Hermengildo Lucio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Victor Wooten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Lucio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Wooten in the 35th minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Hermengildo Lucio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Acosta fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Acosta's Victor Wooten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Acosta's Friedrich Nietzsche got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hermengildo Lucio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oihan Loredo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Wooten in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Lucio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Poncio Obiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acosta the free kick. The audience was convinced that Victor Wooten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Lucio was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Carmen's Hermengildo Lucio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Wooten in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Teo Salto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acosta the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Carmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Salto to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Lucio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 75 minutes, Victor Wooten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acosta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Wooten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Lucio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Wooten in the 77th minute of play. Victor Wooten took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Lucio. Hermengildo Lucio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Hermengildo Lucio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Wooten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Lucio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Clemenz in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Wooten in the 92nd minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Hermengildo Lucio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94th play minutes Victor Wooten shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Hermengildo Lucio and just under the crossbar into goal. There was no doubt that Acosta were the better team. Acosta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
