Reynold AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekialde Pillado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zumar Lerin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rayman Chandeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Barrancas's goalkeeper Zumar Lerin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekialde Pillado. Vermudo Gavela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Collazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daunte Dieguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vermudo Gavela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elia Collazos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Collazos couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Moises Lunar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Barrancas's goal looked a bit too open when Rayman Chandeiro came free, but Zumar Lerin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rayman Chandeiro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zumar Lerin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ekialde Pillados short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Zumar Lerin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vermudo Gavela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daunte Dieguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Rayman Chandeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zumar Lerin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Danel Parraga got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ekialde Pillado struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Zumar Lerin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reynold AFC. Vermudo Gavela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daunte Dieguez went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Elia Collazos made the kick off in the second half. When Ubarna Garaizabal fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Ubarna Garaizabal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ubarna Garaizabal hit a great ball. Daunte Dieguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Vermudo Gavela made a huge save. Zumar Lerin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekialde Pillado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vermudo Gavela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Collazos in the 75th minute of play. Vermudo Gavela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Collazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Daunte Dieguez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Reynold AFC's Vermudo Gavela. Vermudo Gavela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoil Orue to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barrancas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
