Zumar Lerin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Daunte Dieguez hit a great ball. Isidro Orantes struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Zumar Lerin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Eugenio FC. Rey Castroviejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Elia Collazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureo Barambio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Barrancas were awarded a corner. Danel Parraga went to the cornerflag to take it. Porfiro Trueba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The Zumar Lerin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Porfiro Trueba charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porfiro Trueba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfiro Trueba to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rey Castroviejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zumar Lerin was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. San Eugenio FC played a much better game than Barrancas and deserved their victory. The Barrancas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
