Vermudo Gavela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artigas. If Rayman Chandeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rayman Chandeiro struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Eudoxio Costales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reynold AFC. A collision led to Reynold AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Criston Barja hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Reynold AFC's Casomiro Caldevilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eudoxio Costales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eudoxio Costales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayman Chandeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rayman Chandeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eudoxio Costales having to interfere. Reynold AFC's Ekialde Pillado got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Serafin Tama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Napier Rezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Paulo Seral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eudoxio Costales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rayman Chandeiro made a kick off. If Napier Rezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Serafin Tama came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Artigas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Tama couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lertxun Bugedo hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Artigas got a freekick which was hit by Florian Cabrera. Obano Damar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Obano Damar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the game, one of Artigas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Reynold AFC's Oscar Baca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eudoxio Costales. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ekialde Pillado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynold AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekialde Pillado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eudoxio Costales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ekialde Pillado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 74th playminute. In the 82nd minute of the match Cefero Limiñana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vermudo Gavela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Napier Rezabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Vermudo Gavela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
