The audience was convinced that Rey Castroviejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eudoxio Costales was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. San Eugenio FC's Isidro Orantes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Artigas got a freekick which was hit by Obano Damar. Eudoxio Costales made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rey Castroviejo sent off a good shot on target. San Eugenio FC's Aureo Barambio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napier Rezabal in the 8th minute of play. Fermin Anieva kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Artigas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Chano Neyda scored to the left of an out of position Eudoxio Costales, making the score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Napier Rezabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureo Barambio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eudoxio Costales came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by San Eugenio FC's Rey Castroviejo. But to his dismay, Rey Castroviejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Rey Castroviejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Eugenio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Castroviejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Orantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eudoxio Costales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When San Eugenio FC's Isidro Orantes in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Artigas's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Serafin Tama hit a great ball. Rey Castroviejo in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eudoxio Costales, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Artigas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isidro Orantes was slow to take the kick. During this time San Eugenio FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Saturnino Godan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Artigas's Eudoxio Costales did a great save. In the 55th match minute, San Eugenio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nasir Tumbay to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Chano Neyda notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Artigas's Eudoxio Costales. Eudoxio Costales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rey Castroviejo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the San Eugenio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Castroviejo couldn't finish the play. Eudoxio Costales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Orantes in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Florian Cabrera hit a great ball. If Romo Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artigas's Eudoxio Costales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Orantes in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Romo Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eudoxio Costales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. San Eugenio FC's Romo Maria got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Romo Maria sped through Artigas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eudoxio Costales. Eudoxio Costales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romo Maria went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.
