In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapara's goalkeeper Piearres Morante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Castroviejo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piearres Morante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Timoteo Leonor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play Zapara's Papo Cadena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 37th minute, Rey Castroviejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piearres Morante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, San Eugenio FC's Isidro Orantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piearres Morante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Piearres Morante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Orantes in the 46th minute of play. The Zapara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Eugenio FC were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenz Riera to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, San Eugenio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nasir Tumbay to maneuver through the defense. Lorenz Riera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureo Barambio having to interfere. Ahmet Nasir Tumbay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, San Eugenio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Riera came free, but Aureo Barambio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zapara! In the 72nd minute, Romo Maria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piearres Morante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Romo Maria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Piearres Morante made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Isidro Orantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piearres Morante was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the game, Isidro Orantes lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Piearres Morante. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Orantes in the 84th minute of play forced Zapara's goalkeeper Piearres Morante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
