In the 6th minute Serafino Tixido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixona Sesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enaut Herquinigo's late challenge caught a Sauzal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enaut Herquinigo helped the player get up and apologised. Enaut Herquinigo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hector Yanes was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Derwin Oña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Derwin Oña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Derwin Oña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derwin Oña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hector Yanes made a huge save. Derwin Oña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Yanes having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Sauzal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enaut Herquinigo came free, but Ixona Sesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Serafino Tixido managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Tixido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ixona Sesse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ixona Sesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubendu Fardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hector Yanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endira Mendi in the 34th minute of the match. Hector Yanes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sauzal FC's Derwin Oña. But to his dismay, Derwin Oña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ubendu Fardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixona Sesse having to interfere. C. A. Peñarol's Serafino Tixido managed to work through Sauzal FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Serafino Tixido dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ixona Sesse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubendu Fardi went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Sauzal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maju Repiso to maneuver through the defense. Hector Yanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endira Mendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derwin Oña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hector Yanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endira Mendi scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Yanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Yanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endira Mendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ixona Sesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Tixido in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes in the game, Serafino Tixido fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ixona Sesse having to interfere. Ubendu Fardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubendu Fardi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ixona Sesse. That made the score 3-3 in the 90 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Sauzal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Tixido came free, but Ixona Sesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Tixido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ixona Sesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
