The audience was convinced that Tadeu Cotarelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roegelio Bricianos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Tirso Tocalanza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Osoitz Palenciano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ximeno Torrescassana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Israel Robezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Valdense booed when Totoral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enekoitz Barrena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Valdense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Irazu to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Tadeu Cotarelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Flavio Pego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdense's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Pego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximeno Torrescassana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tadeu Cotarelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
