Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Opilano Dalaje in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gauargi Usarralde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Constante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepin Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ebardo Sancha might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Constante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ebardo Sancha ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Cardozo FC's zone, Endira Sibila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gauargi Usarralde came out of the goal and Endira Sibila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xosepin Harroyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, Cardozo FC's Ebardo Sancha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Constante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Endira Sibila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Usarralde having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Opilano Dalaje in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gauargi Usarralde saved Cardozo FC from getting behind. In the 34th minute Xosepin Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Constante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iban Umaña hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, Concordia FC's Endira Sibila made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gauargi Usarralde was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cardozo FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santi Ameda hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, Cardozo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Opilano Dalaje came free, but Gauargi Usarralde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xosepin Harroyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 80 minutes, Lluterio Afonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concordia FC and the Cardozo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
