After a rather tough play, PORONGOS's Serafo Termiñoso got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, PORONGOS's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierre Zaera came free, but John Osaviaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Liberfad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenec Panadero came free, but Bartolome Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Montrel Liebana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montrel Liebanas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got John Osaviaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. John Osaviaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gutierre Zaera in the 34th minute of the match. PORONGOS's Domenec Panadero got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Pero Fontova notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PORONGOS's John Osaviaga. John Osaviaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Osaviaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierre Zaera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gutierre Zaera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Montrel Liebana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Gutierre Zaera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osaviaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Serafo Termiñoso fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PORONGOS's protests and gave Serafo Termiñoso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PORONGOS's Serafo Termiñoso got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrel Liebana in the 65th minute of play forced PORONGOS's goalkeeper John Osaviaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Gutierre Zaera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Osaviaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montrel Liebana, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee gave PORONGOS a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pasqual Esperta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liberfad FC's Bartolome Aguilera. 1-1. PORONGOS's Brion Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in PORONGOS's zone, Montrel Liebana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Osaviaga came out of the goal and Montrel Liebana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolome Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Ferran in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
