Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elixio Correa got the match started through his kick off. Xilo Cedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elixio Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Elixio Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Guitian to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sauzal's zone, Aldo Belda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xilo Cedillo came out of the goal and Aldo Belda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elixio Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Belda got free with Xilo Cedillo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 minutes, Xamin Andres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauzal and the Itapeby AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Sauzal got a freekick which was hit by Xamin Andres. After having played for 63 minutes, Elixio Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapeby AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elixio Correa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Diegotxe Galvan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Sauzal booed when Itapeby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaume Alsina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mauro Guitian got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cordareo Sandes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elixio Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sauzal's Xilo Cedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Sauzal from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Itapeby AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
