In the 4th minute of the match, Gonzales Albizua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingos Morelle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Domingos Morelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzales Albizua in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Txartiko Villacanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zayvion Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarandi FC's protests and gave Zayvion Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Floresta booed when Sarandi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zayvion Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julen Corneja in the 47th minute of play forced Floresta's goalkeeper Bertol Parrondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
53 minutes into the match, Sarandi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ekain Jara came free, but Domingos Morelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zadornin Vina to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Morelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzales Albizua, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
