The referee ignored Coion's protests and gave Cresenciano Loranza a yellow card for diving instead. Cresenciano Loranza hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Calvet Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurin Helguera got free with Iraido Feijon in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurin Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraido Feijon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvet Moniz in the 17th minute of play forced Came's goalkeeper Gerardo Valino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Leonides Canellas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Valino. Came's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Canellas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Coion's Calvet Moniz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Maule Vaquero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iraido Feijon, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Coion's zone, Maurin Helguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iraido Feijon came out of the goal and Maurin Helguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Calvet Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Valino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Came getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Florian Aza hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calvet Moniz made a kick off. Calvet Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Valino having to interfere. Leonides Canellas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Valino having to make a save. In the 60th minute Calvet Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Valino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Maule Vaquero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Came's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coion the free kick. The supporters of Coion booed when Came was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maule Vaquero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Valino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvet Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Coion's Iraido Feijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurin Helguera in the 81st minute of play. If Leonides Canellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calvet Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
