Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xusto Buerga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Tiatocura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rioja Sangra to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Hug Baiges put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urtats Torrens. Xusto Buerga's late challenge caught a Club Defensores Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xusto Buerga helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Tiatocura got a freekick which was hit by Xusto Buerga. Franco Trielles charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Trielles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliu Tocornal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rioja Sangra in the 12th minute. When Rioja Sangra came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tiatocura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rioja Sangra couldn't finish the play. If Hug Baiges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hunfredo Carreras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Defensores Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Hunfredo Carreras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urtats Torrens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliu Tocornal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xusto Buerga in the 28th minute of play. Hunfredo Carreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Urtats Torrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiatocura's goalkeeper Urtats Torrens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Feliu Tocornal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Urtats Torrens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunfredo Carreras in the 37th minute of the match. When Hunfredo Carreras came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Club Defensores Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hunfredo Carreras couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Cresenciano Achiaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiatocura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Defensores Belgrano the free kick. In the 42nd minute Hug Baiges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtats Torrens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Hunfredo Carreras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

51 minutes into the match, Tiatocura's goalkeeper Urtats Torrens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hug Baiges. Hug Baiges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Urtats Torrens made a huge save. Feliu Tocornal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rioja Sangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rioja Sangra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hunfredo Carreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Club Defensores Belgrano getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Franco Trielles hit a great ball. Club Defensores Belgrano's Lander Yunibarbia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maties Loarte, made in the 81st minute of the game. Hunfredo Carreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Urtats Torrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tiatocura's Xusto Buerga got a free kick in the 95th minute. Club Defensores Belgrano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
