Nicholas Beteta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justin Resines charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justin Resines the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Cambara got a freekick which was hit by Justin Resines. The supporters of Cambara booed when Peñarol Brasileiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Tarsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mede Balpuesta during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicholas Beteta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mede Balpuesta in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Panadero in the 28th minute of play forced Cambara's goalkeeper Zorion Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beila Madera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Beteta having to interfere. Mede Balpuesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicholas Beteta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Peñarol Brasileiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Beteta should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beila Madera to make the kick off. When Mariano Panadero came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Peñarol Brasileiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Panadero couldn't finish the play. When Justin Resines was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mede Balpuesta got free with Nicholas Beteta in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Peñarol Brasileiro's Oinatz Panadero tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cambara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
