Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Laureles's Eulalio Paez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Cambara's zone, Eulalio Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zorion Maldonado came out of the goal and Eulalio Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorion Maldonado having to interfere. When Laureles's Eulalio Paez in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambara's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute, Odon Reynoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Madera in the 16th minute of play forced Laureles's goalkeeper Lizer Liceaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorion Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cambara's Zorion Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Arzuriaga in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Fermin Pamanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambara's goalkeeper Zorion Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fermin Pamanes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambara's protests and gave Fermin Pamanes a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Pamanes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, one of Cambara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Laureles a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ado Esoin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cambara's Zorion Maldonado. 0-2. In the 36th minute Lucio Arzuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorion Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Mede Balpuesta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mede Balpuesta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Paez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Cambara's Beila Madera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lizer Liceaga. Lizer Liceaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beila Madera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Cambara's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Paez came free, but Zorion Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mede Balpuesta came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cambara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mede Balpuesta couldn't finish the play. Cambara's Zorion Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Paez in the 66th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Eulalio Paez rounded Cambara's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. After a rather tough play, Cambara's Teo Agriano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lucio Arzuriaga struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zorion Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laureles. In the 85th minute, Beila Madera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lizer Liceaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Laureles's Lizer Liceaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beila Madera in the 89th minute of play. Beila Madera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lizer Liceaga having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mede Balpuesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambara's supporters rose to their feet, but Mede Balpuesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lizer Liceaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
