The supporters of Artigas booed when Espinillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoilo Licardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Bruno Barbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Barbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damario Larrangos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Petri Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isauro Castellon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lano Valino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lalla Casias in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Artigas's zone, Lalla Casias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lano Valino came out of the goal and Lalla Casias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Bruno Barbari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lano Valino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Barbari in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Isauro Castellon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
