In the 7th minute, Vergaray Recondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polonio AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Florentino Astete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Recondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vergaray Recondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Astete having to interfere. After 24th play minutes Tiniebra Aller shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Florentino Astete and just under the crossbar into goal. Tiniebra Aller struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Florentino Astete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polonio AFC. A collision led to Colon FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Goi Tizon hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Vergaray Recondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Florentino Astete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Colon FC's zone, Vergaray Recondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Astete came out of the goal and Vergaray Recondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goi Tizon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Raimundo Negroni shot from long distance after 52 played minutes, a shot that Florentino Astete with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Colon FC's Xano Buitron got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Colon FC's goalkeeper Florentino Astete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vergaray Recondo. Ubarna Jauregui scored 1-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoelvis Launda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vergaray Recondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Florentino Astete made a huge save. Yoelvis Launda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Buitron in the 64th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Polonio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Negroni. After a rather tough play, Polonio AFC's Tiniebra Aller got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tiniebra Aller struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Florentino Astete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polonio AFC. Polonio AFC's Vergaray Recondo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Colon FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Asteri Fraile hit a great ball. Vergaray Recondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ubarna Jauregui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Astete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiniebra Aller, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Polonio AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
