An unexpectedly hard shot by Joanes Salbago in the 74th minute of play forced Carqueja AFC's goalkeeper Edur Paiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medardo Pedronera got free with Damian Guisasola in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Carqueja AFC's Jatsu Calonge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Guisasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jatsu Calonge's late challenge caught a Novillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jatsu Calonge helped the player get up and apologised. Medardo Pedronera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
