Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Casado Cofresi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Damian Guisasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casado Cofresi in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casado Cofresi in the 6th minute of play forced Novillos's goalkeeper Damian Guisasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Guisasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casado Cofresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Polonio's Casado Cofresi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Guisasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Casado Cofresi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Guisasola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 1-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Joanes Salbago elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sidoro Campelo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidoro Campelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Polonio's Sidoro Campelo got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Joanes Salbago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maria Tovilleja was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Sidoro Campelo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Joselito Boladeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joanes Salbago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Novillos's zone, Casado Cofresi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Guisasola came out of the goal and Casado Cofresi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Novillos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Polonio were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joanes Salbago was the one to do the kick off. Maria Tovilleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joanes Salbago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Guisasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Cofresi in the 60th minute of play. Novillos's Damian Guisasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casado Cofresi in the 64th minute of play. Sidoro Campelo got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes Polonio got a freekick which was hit by Sidoro Campelo. Joanes Salbago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maria Tovilleja having to interfere. Hulberto Canedo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Maria Tovilleja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novillos. 75 minutes into the game, Rodas Cimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Novillos the free kick. After 75 played minutes Polonio got a freekick which was hit by Rodas Cimas. Maria Tovilleja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joanes Salbago went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Polonio booed when Novillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Castejon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joselito Boladeras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Damian Guisasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joselito Boladeras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Damian Guisasola made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Cantabrana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Polonio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Polonio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
