In the 10th minute Nisio Piñeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Mascarañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavian Alacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Boreyta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raebert Escobedo in the 20th minute of the match. Xavian Alacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Boreyta having to interfere. Gora Albornoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Mascarañas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, one of Chilcas AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chilcas AFC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nisio Piñeiro to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Peralta AFC defense, Nisio Piñeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Mascarañas. The Peralta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Mascarañas should have stopped the shot. Chilcas AFC's Nisio Piñeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chilcas AFC's Igor Boreyta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raebert Escobedo in the 64th minute of play. When Zuriko Lamiar fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chilcas AFC's protests and gave Zuriko Lamiar a yellow card for diving instead. Chilcas AFC's Igor Boreyta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raebert Escobedo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Raebert Escobedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chilcas AFC's Procopio Aguado got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tiago Mascarañas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nisio Piñeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. Nisio Piñeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavian Alacan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Boreyta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavian Alacan ran back to his position shaking his head. The Chilcas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chilcas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
