When Lorenzo Gancedo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Zapican AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Gancedo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugutz Lertora in the 29th minute of play forced Zapican AFC's goalkeeper Senon Liquiñano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmau Viniambres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Bela Gustros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Champions Liga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapican AFC the free kick. A collision led to La Champions Liga getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bela Gustros hit a great ball. La Champions Liga's Panfilo Almaraz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Luna during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ugutz Lertora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Senon Liquiñano having to interfere. The supporters of Zapican AFC booed when La Champions Liga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascoal Armoña hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half La Champions Liga were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anıl Arda Özinal made the kick off in the second half. If Panfilo Almaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Mateus Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmau Viniambres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikel Robledo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Zapican AFC's Mikelar Mendaña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Champions Liga. 65 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Gancedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmau Viniambres. La Champions Liga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Gancedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
