Correa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapebi FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Correa AFC's Zigor Loayza got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telo Maimo got free with Guillelme Caballero in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Itapebi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Arzuriaga came free, but Unax Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Jorrin Arzuriaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapebi FC's Unax Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Telo Maimo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Itapebi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telo Maimo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 28 minutes, Diego Escapa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Escapa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Jorrin Arzuriaga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itapebi FC's Unax Perez. Unax Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute of the match Correa AFC got a corner. Itapebi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santikurtz Urizar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Correa AFC's Santikurtz Urizar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Unax Perez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37thth minute of the game Diego Escapa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapebi FC's Unax Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Itapebi FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bazil Hoyuelos hit a great ball. Unax Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Escapa in the 39th minute of play. Bazil Hoyuelos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Jorrin Arzuriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorrin Arzuriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th match minute, Itapebi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bazil Hoyuelos to maneuver through the defense. Diego Escapa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unax Perez having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Telo Maimo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Correa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lidon Caldevilla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Correa AFC's zone, Mel Bastida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillelme Caballero came out of the goal and Mel Bastida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telo Maimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillelme Caballero having to interfere. When Diego Escapa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Correa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Escapa couldn't finish the play. Unax Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorrin Arzuriaga in the 62nd minute of the match. Diego Escapa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Unax Perez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Jorrin Arzuriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unax Perez was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Jorrin Arzuriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donzel Belaunde kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Escapa got free with Unax Perez in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unax Perez was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Jorrin Arzuriaga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorrin Arzuriaga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 84 minutes into the game, Fidensio Iruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
