Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Genaro Sirgo made the kick off which started today's match. After 9 minutes of play, Conchillas's Soin Calzon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oihenarte Bueldi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geofredo Lomelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Solar in the 13th minute of the match. Silverio Millares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oihenarte Bueldi came out and tried to block the shot, but Silverio Millares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Calvino Solar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelones's supporters rose to their feet, but Calvino Solar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geofredo Lomelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geofredo Lomelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Solar in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Theobald Collantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canelones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conchillas the free kick. After 29 played minutes Canelones got a freekick which was hit by Theobald Collantes. Soin Calzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Oihenarte Bueldi made a huge save. Genaro Sirgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Geofredo Lomelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canelones's Oihenarte Bueldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Millares in the 44th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Millares to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Conchillas got a freekick which was hit by Brun Espinosa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Sirgo in the 54th minute of play forced Conchillas's goalkeeper Geofredo Lomelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Millares in the 56th minute of play forced Canelones's goalkeeper Oihenarte Bueldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oihenarte Bueldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soin Calzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Millares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Oihenarte Bueldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristos Ituarte fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canelones's protests and gave Cristos Ituarte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Canelones's Cristos Ituarte got a free kick in the 71st minute. Oihenarte Bueldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soin Calzon's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Conchillas's Geofredo Lomelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Sirgo in the 77th minute of play. Silverio Millares took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oihenarte Bueldi. Oihenarte Bueldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Oihenarte Bueldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Soin Calzon went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Conchillas's zone, Genaro Sirgo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geofredo Lomelin came out of the goal and Genaro Sirgo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Sirgo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Geofredo Lomelin made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Silverio Millares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conchillas's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Millares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oihenarte Bueldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conchillas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Canelones for a fine match.
