Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sauveur Barreiro got the match started through his kick off. Tolga Akçal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Millares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Serafin Parandones came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Mendizabal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Parandones couldn't finish the play. Sauveur Barreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vellito Trigueros during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sauveur Barreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendizabal's supporters rose to their feet, but Sauveur Barreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geofredo Lomelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Conchillas's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Guardamiño came free, but Geofredo Lomelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frutos Escoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Lomelin having to interfere. A collision led to Conchillas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Brun Espinosa hit a great ball. Serafin Parandones struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Geofredo Lomelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendizabal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Frutos Escoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendizabal's supporters rose to their feet, but Frutos Escoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geofredo Lomelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mendizabal's Sauveur Barreiro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Silverio Millares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolga Akçal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Sauveur Barreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conchillas's Geofredo Lomelin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sauveur Barreiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Conchillas's Geofredo Lomelin. Geofredo Lomelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frutos Escoto scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geofredo Lomelin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Sauveur Barreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Mendizabal were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Conchillas got a freekick which was hit by Cefero Lainez. In the 52nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Mitxel Aeta hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 55th minute Sauveur Barreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Lomelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Conchillas's Froilan Herran got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Conchillas's Telmo Olmeda got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 76th minute, Sauveur Barreiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geofredo Lomelin. The goal made the score 0-4. When Mendizabal's Sauveur Barreiro in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conchillas's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vellito Trigueros in the 83rd minute of play forced Conchillas's goalkeeper Geofredo Lomelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sauveur Barreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Lomelin having to interfere. Serafin Parandones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sauveur Barreiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Geofredo Lomelin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute, Soin Calzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conchillas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Honorio Guardamiño scored to the left of an out of position Geofredo Lomelin, making the score, 0-5. Mendizabal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
