To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 12 minutes on the clock, Sotero Cariton commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leocadio Saldaña struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gamus Angosto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto. Udalaitz Bengoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gamus Angosto having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Cabellos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sarracino Galanes. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Teofilo Lizanein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabellos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Lizanein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Alcalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Terremoto's goal looked a bit too open when Domeka Llorens came free, but William Alcalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Teofilo Lizanein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabellos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Lizanein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Alcalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Cabellos FC's Raul Ariztimuño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Alcalde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leocadio Saldaña was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cabellos FC's Gaspar Rapela got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Udalaitz Bengoa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Terremoto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udalaitz Bengoa couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Raul Ariztimuño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cabellos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Domeka Llorens hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udalaitz Bengoa in the 76th minute of play forced Cabellos FC's goalkeeper Gamus Angosto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Lizanein got free with William Alcalde in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Teofilo Lizanein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Locaio Goztros during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Terremoto getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Locaio Goztros hit a great ball. If Teofilo Lizanein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Lizanein succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 85th playminute. If Gaspar Rapela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
