After 10 minutes of play, Anastasia AFC's Mauro Villadiego made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sauveur Planes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Mauro Villadiego put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sauveur Planes. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Maria Arbizu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anastasia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maria Arbizu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sauveur Planes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sauveur Planes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Arbizu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timo Persol fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horqueta's protests and gave Timo Persol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Maria Arbizu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horqueta's Sauveur Planes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Nesor Acutain put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Isadore Iturburu. Dubardo Viesca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesor Acutain in the 43rd minute of play forced Anastasia AFC's goalkeeper Isadore Iturburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maria Arbizu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Nesor Acutain made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Nesor Acutain sped through Anastasia AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isadore Iturburu. 62 minutes into the game, Guillelmo Monzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anastasia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horqueta the free kick. The supporters of Horqueta booed when Anastasia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillelmo Monzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rius Gutarrate was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Maria Arbizu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sauveur Planes was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Sauveur Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Arbizu in the 73rd minute of the match. Maria Arbizu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Anastasia AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Isadore Iturburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dubardo Viesca in the 99th minute of the match. Dubardo Viesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Anastasia AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
