In the 9th match minute, Carrasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Silio to maneuver through the defense. Sidoro Izmendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Wincent Kojder made a huge save. The corner led Castilla FC's Norberto Montalvo to fire away a dangerous shot which Wincent Kojder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mark Maliaño struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wincent Kojder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castilla FC. 20 minutes into the match, Castilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Alonso came free, but Dominguez Gayferos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Castilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorio Gorostiza. Sidoro Izmendi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Wincent Kojder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritchie Silio in the 40th minute of play forced Castilla FC's goalkeeper Dominguez Gayferos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinoviy Dzhavadov shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aires Malla made a kick off. Theodore Armental could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dominguez Gayferos made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Dorio Gorostiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodore Armental got free with Dominguez Gayferos in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wincent Kojder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Maliaño in the 55th minute of play. Markel Silveira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dorio Gorostiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wincent Kojder came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Castilla FC's Mark Maliaño. But to his dismay, Mark Maliaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, Carrasco's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Maliaño came free, but Wincent Kojder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Maliaño in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincent Kojder saved Carrasco from getting behind. If Mark Maliaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Ivan Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominguez Gayferos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ritchie Silio got free with Dominguez Gayferos in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominguez Gayferos was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ivan Alonso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivan Alonso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Balesio Herquinigo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes, Castilla FC's Dorio Gorostiza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wincent Kojder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castilla FC reached it. Dorio Gorostiza struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wincent Kojder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castilla FC. 92 minutes into the match, Ivan Alonso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dominguez Gayferos, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carrasco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
