Guerrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Marino Ocomardia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominguez Gayferos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martino Servicial in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominguez Gayferos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Castilla FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lartaun Dominguez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Castilla FC's Dorio Gorostiza got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Guerrero's Ponce Cidiel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mark Maliaño struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lizer Cavadas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castilla FC. Guerrero's Lizer Cavadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidoro Izmendi in the 18th minute of play. Astigar Candina hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Guerrero got a freekick which was hit by Donato Alastuey. Castilla FC's Dominguez Gayferos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martino Servicial in the 27th minute of play. Lizer Cavadas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidoro Izmendi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidoro Izmendi was the one to do the kick off. When Mark Maliaño came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Castilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Maliaño couldn't finish the play. If Sidoro Izmendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Guerrero's Quirce Caldas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominguez Gayferos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ramone Montemiuño kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Mark Maliaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lizer Cavadas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Astigar Candina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominguez Gayferos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirce Caldas, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Castilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Peru Cardeña. Astigar Candina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominguez Gayferos. Castilla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Maliaño in the 84th minute of play forced Guerrero's goalkeeper Lizer Cavadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mark Maliaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ovidio Ibarzabal came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Castilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Ibarzabal couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Guerrero's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Maliaño came free, but Lizer Cavadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Castilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
