Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Laura's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Rigues came free, but Zayveon Tijero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venerando Veidazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rocio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Joara charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Joara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Laura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Joara to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Laura's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Rigues came free, but Zayveon Tijero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Peñarol got a freekick which was hit by Sauveur Baños. Saturnin Candamo's late challenge caught a Laura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnin Candamo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Laura booed when Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnin Candamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Venerando Veidazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venerando Veidazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urtzi Barras short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Rocio Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venerando Veidazar made a kick off. Perez Somavilla's late challenge caught a Peñarol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perez Somavilla helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Laura's zone, Alberto Rigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zayveon Tijero came out of the goal and Alberto Rigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urtzi Barra might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rocio Socorro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtzi Barra ran back to his position shaking his head. Rocio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venerando Veidazar in the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Venerando Veidazar made a precise shot to the right of Rocio Socorro. Peñarol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 80th minute, Kinsen Callergos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venerando Veidazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urtzi Barra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtzi Barra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocio Socorro having to interfere. Venerando Veidazar took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rocio Socorro. Rocio Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Rigues in the 94th minute of play forced Laura's goalkeeper Zayveon Tijero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mendebal Olier got free with Zayveon Tijero in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laura fully deserved thier win.
