In the 4th minute Marz Besteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirande Ororbia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Eustacio Martinena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marz Besteo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Mirande Ororbia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peralta AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Imperio F.C's zone, Marz Besteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirande Ororbia came out of the goal and Marz Besteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bide Creus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Argudin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rios Pobes in the 20th minute. The supporters of Imperio F.C booed when Peralta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Mondrevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Belandia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Peralta AFC's Marz Besteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirande Ororbia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Bide Creus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bide Creus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peralta AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bide Creus 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manilan Arizabal made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bide Creus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bide Creus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Argudin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mirande Ororbia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manilan Arizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Imperio F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Marz Besteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Marz Besteo made a precise shot to the right of Mirande Ororbia. Imperio F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eugenio Argudin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bide Creus in the 78th minute of the match. If Marz Besteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Manilan Arizabal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mirande Ororbia was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Mirande Ororbia made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marz Besteo sent off a good shot on target. Rios Pobes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eugenio Argudin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peralta AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Emmanuel Belandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 100 minutes into the match, Imperio F.C's goalkeeper Mirande Ororbia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marz Besteo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peralta AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
