But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilen Yañez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oton Zumaya in the 11th minute of play forced Coion's goalkeeper Rodas Tornamira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilen Yañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Velasquez's Luzea Bruna got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Caitano Caseda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velasquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilen Yañez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodas Tornamira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jobo Sojo's late challenge caught a Velasquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Gilen Yañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodas Tornamira having to interfere. Lucado Vallejoller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidro Cuaron having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Coion had won after a very even match.
