Rodolfo Novo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macias Trigueros in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertin Vizcaya in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Mendizabal saved El Gringo 20 FC from getting behind. Gartxot Sandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Mendizabal having to interfere. Txeru Cuesta kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, El Gringo 20 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertin Vizcaya came free, but Jonatan Mendizabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Gringo 20 FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ruben Mazule hit a great ball. Gartxot Sandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonatan Mendizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Mendizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertin Vizcaya in the 36th minute of play. Mancio Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Bertin Vizcaya struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jonatan Mendizabal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintos. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oto Llanos made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Mazule during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, El Gringo 20 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Mazule to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Gartxot Sandino made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Mendizabal. El Gringo 20 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 61 played minutes El Gringo 20 FC got a freekick which was hit by Millano Mallen. Jonatan Mendizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartxot Sandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, El Gringo 20 FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gartxot Sandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Bertin Vizcaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Gual's late challenge caught a Pintos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Gual helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, El Gringo 20 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Gual to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Pintos's Gartxot Sandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Mendizabal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Oto Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bertin Vizcaya got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jonatan Mendizabal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gartxot Sandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pintos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gartxot Sandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Mendizabal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Mendizabal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Pintos's Bertin Vizcaya. But to his dismay, Bertin Vizcaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gartxot Sandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Mendizabal having to interfere. The Pintos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
