Maju Mendaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Buruaga in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txerran Aladro got free with Vincent Silvestri in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barker's Maju Mendaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Cora in the 26th minute of play. If Txerran Aladro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Egana booed when Barker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erlantz Morcillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Buruaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maju Mendaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Buruaga in the 49th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lourenco Talaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lourenco Talaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Silvestri having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Lourenco Talaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenco Talaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Egana's Maju Mendaza threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinand Cora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bartolo Buruaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egana's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Buruaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maju Mendaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolo Buruaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Maju Mendaza made a huge save. Aznar Seda charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aznar Seda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aznar Seda to maneuver through the defense. Egana's Chinto Gener pulled a muscle in his leg after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 91 minutes into the game, Gitano Ajamil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egana the free kick. After 91 played minutes Barker got a freekick which was hit by Gitano Ajamil. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
