The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frasco Zarzuelo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gartzi Velunza's late challenge caught a Priero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Priero's Nestor Quintarnaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berdaitz Trelles in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Xusto Caldera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quintarnaya having to interfere. A collision led to Priero getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Urbes Palmadas hit a great ball. Priero's Nestor Quintarnaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Priero from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Paralle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Priero throughout the match.
