Batista Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jimeno Azpiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juventud Las Piedras's Jimeno Azpiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Jimeno Azpiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventud Las Piedras and the Tomas Paz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Azpiroz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Juventud Las Piedras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dmitriy Nilin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomas Paz FC's Clemencin Borja got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batista Doblas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dmitriy Nilin's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Estavan Viniambres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batista Doblas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dmitriy Nilin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Batista Doblas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dmitriy Nilin in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ponc Vierna to strike the kick off in the second half. Batista Doblas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Nilin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Toivo Keerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Doblas having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Tomas Paz FC's Dmitriy Nilin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batista Doblas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a little luck, Tomas Paz FC's Orland Froiz got control of the ball when Jimeno Azpiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batista Doblas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estavan Viniambres in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Las Piedras's zone, Estavan Viniambres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Doblas came out of the goal and Estavan Viniambres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Estavan Viniambres sped through Juventud Las Piedras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Batista Doblas. Batista Doblas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Nilin in the 81st minute of play. Batista Doblas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estavan Viniambres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tomas Paz FC's Oton Peñafiel got a free kick in the 84th minute.
