Fertus Olate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Batista Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Juventud Las Piedras got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Vara. Pablo Rial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Doblas having to interfere. Rutenio Barajo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.
