Ekialde Taranco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Franquia's Haritzeder Raigada got a free kick in the 24th minute. Peter Cena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ekialde Taranco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute of the match Franquia got a corner. Acegua AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Merodo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Zamora in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekialde Taranco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Franquia's goalkeeper Ximeno Natal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andre Zamora struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ekialde Taranco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franquia. In the 75th minute, Nacho Centeñes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franquia's Osoitz Olabarrieta got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
