Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5578, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 15) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ambrosio Meldasgoas kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Jimenez's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Azpiroz came free, but Eduardo Bon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponc Vierna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eduardo Bon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominix Mella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Juventud Las Piedras's Batista Doblas got control of the ball when Dominix Mella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bittor Castiñeira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jimenez's zone, Jimeno Azpiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Bon came out of the goal and Jimeno Azpiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Ponc Vierna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Meldasgoas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Jimenez's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 41st minute, Ambrosio Meldasgoas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ponc Vierna made a kick off. Reynaldo Vara kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Las Piedras's zone, Dominix Mella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Doblas came out of the goal and Dominix Mella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jimenez's Faustino Urquiza got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rutenio Barajo's late challenge caught a Jimenez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutenio Barajo helped the player get up and apologised. Leizarraga Villamizar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Dominix Mella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Doblas having to interfere. Jimeno Azpiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eduardo Bon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista Doblas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominix Mella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimenez's Eduardo Bon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponc Vierna in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Ambrosio Meldasgoas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
