Cesar Bocos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Acegua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roderigo Labiaga. Jimenez's Ambrosio Meldasgoas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severo Orengo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Orengo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Acegua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Orengo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jimenez getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claudinei Ocampo hit a great ball. Dominix Mellas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ekialde Taranco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peter Cena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Faustino Urquiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Cena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Bon having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Meldasgoas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Cena got free with Eduardo Bon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Acegua AFC's zone, Dominix Mella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekialde Taranco came out of the goal and Dominix Mella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dominix Mella came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jimenez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominix Mella couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Acegua AFC defense, Ambrosio Meldasgoas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ekialde Taranco. The Acegua AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ekialde Taranco should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Meldasgoas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ekialde Taranco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Peter Cena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastia Valbuena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eduardo Bon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jimenez fans cheered their team off the field, for while Acegua AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
