In a very dangerous position, a player in Jimenez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Franquia a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alex Merodo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jimenez's Eduardo Bon. 1-0. Eduardo Bon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foro Dozal's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Franquia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
