Spectators: 6693 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) Piedritas's Bento Moscoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gartzi Diestro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Caraballo having to interfere. When Muno Faes came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cerrezuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muno Faes couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Muno Faes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Caraballo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Bento Moscoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedritas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerrezuelo FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes Piedritas got a freekick which was hit by Bento Moscoso. When Adriana Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piedritas's protests and gave Adriana Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Adriana Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Selmo Arandajo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Caraballo skillfully saved the ball. Cerrezuelo FC's Gorosti Corniero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Moscoso in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Lapurdi Autran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedritas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerrezuelo FC the free kick. In the 31st minute, Bento Moscoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gorosti Corniero. The goal made the score 1-0. Gartzi Diestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Muno Faes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gartzi Diestro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Florin Caraballo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrezuelo FC. Florin Caraballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzi Diestro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Truylos Cofresi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Truylos Cofresi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Piedritas got a freekick which was hit by Truylos Cofresi. The Cerrezuelo FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Cerrezuelo FC's Gartzi Diestro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gartzi Diestro to make the kick off. In the 56th play minute Muno Faes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florin Caraballo. 1-2. Bento Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gartzi Diestro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cerrezuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. Vigil Tuñon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Florin Caraballo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Piedritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Truylos Cofresi to maneuver through the defense. Selmo Arandajo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Amado Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Bento Moscoso made a precise shot to the right of Gorosti Corniero. Cerrezuelo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Piedritas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lapurdi Autran hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Muno Faes notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Piedritas's Florin Caraballo. Florin Caraballo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrezuelo FC's zone, Truylos Cofresi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gorosti Corniero came out of the goal and Truylos Cofresi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cerrezuelo FC's Gorosti Corniero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Moscoso in the 93rd minute of play. Muno Faes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Caraballo having to interfere. When the match was over Cerrezuelo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piedritas throughout the match.
